CAMILLA AND MARC 在 2012 年 8 月時與 David Jones 合作，推出旗下成衣副牌 - C&M CAMILLA AND MARC。
Since its high-profile launch at Australian Fashion Week in 2003, CAMILLA AND MARC has become the local star in luxury womenswear. Brother-sister duo Camilla Freeman Topper and Marc Freeman have identified and established a sophisticated tone that reflects the ease of the Australian lifestyle, allowing them to build a brand ethos that is at once contemporary and effortlessly elegant.
Whilst Marc, who studied commerce and engineering, has the business know-how, Camilla found her niche studying design at the Whitehouse Institute of Design in Sydney. Upon graduation she won a scholarship to attend the prestigious Accademia Italiana Arte Moda in Florence, Italy. This training not only stood her in good stead for planning ranges and structuring a collection, but it also deepened her passion for working with quality textiles, and fine-tuned her training for couturier techniques such as draping.
In 2007, CAMILLA AND MARC took the next step with the launch of C&M CAMILLA AND MARC SWIM — a chic swimwear collection featuring dynamic and feminine prints in unique styles. The line, which became a fast favourite both locally and internationally, offers an elegant interpretation of Sydney beachside fashion and encompasses the essentials of the CAMILLA AND MARC approach to design — flattering silhouettes, clean lines, keen attention to detail.
A distinct and opulent design philosophy infiltrates every element of the business, from the runway presentations, branding and online elements down to the design, fit out and superior in-store experience of the flagship boutiques, located in Paddington, Sydney and on High St, Armadale in Melbourne.
C&M CAMILLA AND MARC — the brand’s secondary ready-to-wear line. Launched in August 2012 in partnership with David Jones, as part of a greater brand strategy to target a broader customer base, the collection is a youthful, price-pointed offering of apparel encompassing a complete apparel offering alongside a selection of swimwear and denim.
